Heart Cries
This little thing is more for me so I don't forget this moment. So things are moving and shaking around our house with the upcoming move, understatement of the week right there! Boxes, phone calls, mentoring sessions from others, stitches on my hand, being dad...being late to pick up my 3rd grader :), church...you know LIFE! With all that is going on it can sneak up on you that the reason you are doing all this can get obscured. Why am we going thru all this "trouble"? David said in 2Samuel 24:24 that he would not offer something to God that did not cost him anything. All of this "moving" is our cost to follow Him and to help the #1 love of His....PEOPLE. This is my "heart cry" this morning... I will not offer something to My Father that does not cost me something...no I am not talking about leaving my family nor putting them in harms way...get real!!!...All of the Lee family knows this is God, this is the leading of the Lord for us. Just because it gets tough does not give us a ticket to QUIT, Jesus went out of His comfort zone for us, literally 3 nails and a crown of thorns is uncomfortable. I can get out of my comfort zone to meet other peoples needs! MORE TO COME!!

Rip off the roof!
I've always been curious about the story of the paralyzed man in Luke 5:17-25...you know the one where the friends rip open the roof to get the man healed. The lesson we have learned from this story is Jesus heals your sicknesses...yesterday, today and forever, however looking into this I see more. To keep it quick...look at the friends for a second. They went out of their way to get this man healed. They went out of their way to get their friend into the presence of The Master. The Bible says that "Jesus saw their faith", not the paralyzed man's faith, the friends faith!! This is the call for the Body of Christ...Rip off the roof and help someone else have an encounter with the Master!!
